Locky Dock charging stations are coming to some of New Zealand’s busiest Great Rides. Free to use, they help riders go further, stop more often and explore with confidence. The rollout focuses on high impact trail towns, attractions and accommodation. This public private partnership is set to deliver world class infrastructure supporting tourism, trail managers while growing regional economies.

What is a Locky Dock, and how does it work?

Locky Docks are free-to-use, secure e-bike charging and parking stations. Riders unlock the dock via the app or RFID card, plug in their charger, lock up, and enjoy their stop.

Are Locky Docks free?

Locky Docks are free to use on the Great Rides. No subscriptions, no hidden fees. Just tap and go.

Are Locky Docks secure? Is my bike safe while docked?

Yes, Locky Docks have been voted the world’s most secure parking with more than 150K bikes parked.

How does Locky Dock benefit regional tourism or economic activity?

Locky Docks attract and support more e-bike users, extending trail use and dwell time, and drive additional foot traffic to local businesses.

Why should my cafe/venue care about Locky Dock nearby?
